On 7 February our Gr.R-3 learners participated in some fun reading activities while celebrating World Read Aloud Day.

Captivating speed and spirit at Brakpan Inter-school Athletics! Thandimfundo Academy shines bright as Osinachi Emechebe, a Grade 1 scholar, clinch gold in the U7 60m and 80m races. Boksburg Stadium echoed with cheers on 8th Feb 2024, it’s a golden date in our history as a school! 🏃🏾🥇✨

🏃‍♂️🏟️ 🦅What an electrifying day at the Boksburg Stadium! Thandimfundo Schools’ interhouse athletics was a display of speed, strength, and school spirit that soared as high as our young athletes’ leaps! 🦜 From the thunder of the starting pistol to the cheering at the finish line, every moment captured the heart of competition and camaraderie.

🦚 The houses competed with palpable passion, but the true victory was in the teamwork and personal bests achieved across the tracks. A huge round of applause for all our participants, from the swift sprinters to the enduring long-distance runners, the mighty throwers to the high-flying jumpers, you’ve made us all proud! 🦩

Gross motor skills affect wellbeing and give children opportunities to socialise in play. Confidence and coordination in gross motor skills are essential for children in developing their fine motor skills.

🎉 Today we had an amazing time meeting the new members of the Thandimfundo family at Thandimfundo Schools' Orientation Day. We had a heartwarming experience of seeing the excitement and enthusiasm of our new students as they prepared to embark on their educational journey with us. We enjoyed meeting with everyone and showcasing all aspects of our great school. As Thandimfundo Schools, we hope everyone left feeling informed, excited, and ready to start the new school year!!!

Thandimfundo Academy Thandimfundo Academy is an Independent school. We follow the CAPS curriculum.

The first session of our Orientation was well attended and enjoyed by the Gr.R and Gr.1 learners with some lovely activities prepared by the teachers.

We are about to start with our second session for the Grade 2-7 learners.
