Trade Test Requirements:

1. Your certified school qualification (Attach certified Highest Qualification EG: Grade 9; N 2-6; NQF 2-4; NCV 1-6; BTECH, ETC)
2. Certified Green barcoded Identity Book or SMART CARD (Both sides) no Affidavits

Proof of workplace experience relevant to the trade (service letter, ARPL, section 26):

3. NB: The letter must clearly state that the candidate was directly doing the trade and the period of years that the he/she was employed for doing his trades duties.
4. Daily duties of the learner must be clearly stipulated by listing job tasks
5. Letters that refer to “senior technical officers” etc, will be rejected by NAMB, the letter must indicate that the candidate was working physically as an artisan, please read and verify the that the letter is correct as incorrect letters will cause many delays when applying to NAMB for trade test certificates
6. The company letter head must be used (The Company must be registered with CIPC and Department of Labour and the letter must be signed by the relevant senior official.
