While cleaning out my old photo folders, I came across this special memory.

This photo was taken when Malcolm and I were nominated for Most Rank-Ups for our team of Wealth Engineers in February 2021. What an incredible achievement and a reminder of what is possible when you consistently help others grow and succeed.

Sometimes we get so focused on the next goal that we forget to celebrate the milestones we've already achieved.

Looking back at this has inspired me to work even harder with my team, helping more people rank up, grow their income, and create a better future for themselves and their families.

🏆 2026 Comrades Marathon Record Breakers! 🏆

🥇 Gerda Steyn secured her fifth Comrades title and broke her own record with an incredible time of 5:44:53.

Congratulations to every athlete who crossed the finish line.
Whether you finished first or last, or didn't complete it! You tried! Completing Comrades is a remarkable achievement. 🎖🏆

Everyone is important! You might be doing something else that is changing lives! Well done!

Comrades 🏅🎉 Working Together to Achieve More! 💖

The 2026 Comrades Marathon Up Run is officially done and dusted!

Congratulations 🏅🌟 to everyone who tackled the legendary hills from Durban to Pietermaritzburg.

The 33 food and water points were strategically stationed along the route to help revive runners with every step. Hundreds of people captured every moment – the sweat, the suffering, the determination, and ultimately the victory smiles. ✨

📍 The journey began at the Start in Durban and continued through Cowies Hill.
Runners geared up for the climbs at Fields Hill and Winston Park, pushed through the heart of the race at Botha's Hill, Drummond, and the crucial halfway mark.
Then came the final stretch through Camperdown, Little Polly's, Polly Shortts, past Comrades House, along the legendary finish straight, and finally across the finish line!

Thousands of runners received their well-earned medals, while others proudly earned their Green Numbers. 🥇🟩

It was another unforgettable day of making memories for the history books.
We had an incredible day and salute every Comrades runner and finisher! 🔥🥇🥈🥉🏅🏆🎖

❤️‍🩹 We also feel for those who started but could not finish due to challenges on the day.❤️‍🩹💝💖 Especially those who crossed the finish line but narrowly missed the cutoff and did not receive a medal.
My heart breaks for every runner who experiences this. To come so far, give everything you have, and miss out by mere moments is devastating. But no one can take away the courage, discipline, determination, and sacrifice it took to get there. You are still champions in your own right. Respect to every Comrades warrior. 💪👏🙌

A very special congratulations to George Kusche, who won the men's race as a novice and broke an 18-year-old Up Run record! 🎖🏆🥇🌟🎉

Congratulations also to Gerda Steyn, who claimed her fifth Comrades Marathon title, secured the women's crown, and set a new Up Run record! 🥇🏆🎉🌟💐🏅

A huge thank you to all the supporters along the route and at the finish.

Whether you were cheering from the sidelines, assisting at the tents, volunteering at water points, or providing medical support, you played a vital role in every runner's journey.

Together, we all made the Ultimate Human Race possible. 🎖🏅🎉🌟

Enjoy every kilometre, appreciate the support along the route, and be proud of how far you have already come.

🌊 Health Day for Us! 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Saturday is usually Parkrun day, but today was extra special as we joined fellow friends and parkrunners at the Emanzimtoti race.

The weather forecast predicted rain, but we were fortunate to have cool, cloudy conditions instead—perfect weather to enjoy a relaxing 5km walk along the beautiful beachfront.

It was also great to see so many Comrades runners taking part in an easy jog to loosen up their muscles after long hours of travelling from Gauteng and other parts of South Africa.

To everyone taking part in the 2026 Comrades Marathon tomorrow, we wish you a fantastic race.

Enjoy every step of the journey to Pietermaritzburg, stay strong, and make the most of this incredible experience!

We are there to support all the way to the finish line.

🌟 Friday Friends 🌟
What a wonderful way to start the weekend!

Yesterday we met up with old running friends and made some new running friends at the Comrades Marathon Exhibition in Durban.

The running community truly is one big family! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Malcolm was especially excited to meet Bruce Fordyce, one of the greatest legends in Comrades history with an incredible 9 victories = 9 Gold medals! 🥇

We also had the privilege of seeing Louis Massyn, the first person to reach the remarkable milestone of 50 Comrades Marathons.🌟🎉💝

Another highlight was meeting Alberto, who has completed 12 Comrades Marathons, and his friend Nevesh at the Green Numbers Club.

It's always inspiring to meet people who have shown such dedication, discipline, and perseverance over many years.

Days like these remind us that success—whether in running, business, or life—is built one step at a time. Every milestone starts with a decision to begin and the determination to keep going. Have the time to enjoy life to the fullest!
