Matriculant of the Year | Competition cultivates leadership and opportunities The Kovsie Alumni Trust’s (KAT) involvement in the Matriculant of the Year competition aligns closely with the trust’s commitment to empowering young people.

This year is the 45th Matriculant of the Year competition in which the top 25 participants planning to study at the University of the Free State can win bursaries and prize money totalling about R500 000. UFS is also excited to welcome Novus Media as a new media partner for the competition.

For more than 40 years, the Matriculant of the Year competition has been making a difference in the lives of hundreds of young people who have started their career path at the University of the Free State (UFS).

Multi-talented Grade 12 learners from across the country can now enter themselves.

Matriculant of the Year | Enter to gain the opportunity of a lifetime Bursaries and prize money of about R500 000 are up for grabs for the top 25. Matriculants from across SA who plan to study at the UFS next year can enter.
