​Our eyes rely on 6 delicate muscles working together in total harmony:

What they control:
​Tracking (Saccades): Jumping smoothly from one word or line to the next across a page.
​Focusing (Convergence): Angling both eyes inward to look at a single word together.
​Fixation: Holding the eyes steady on a word long enough for the brain to process it.

​Why is this crucial for reading?
If these muscles aren't strong or coordinated, words can appear to jump, blur, or double on the page. A child might skip lines, lose their place, or experience fatigue quickly, making reading feel exhausting and frustrating.
