The Edu-Read Academy Supporting schools and parents to assist learners who experience barriers to learning. Reading is therefore a skill that must be taught (Nevills & Wolf, 2009).

Vision: To equip all learners irrespective of their socio – economic background and race with Quality Literacy and Numeracy knowledge and skills that will guide them to become independent responsible citizens who will flourish and meaningfully participate in society. Mission: To guide and support parents , caregivers, and educators with strategies via Quality Literacy and Numeracy Intervention

workshops to enhance the Reading skills and Numeracy skills of learners.

“Our biological destiny is speaking not reading” a young child’s brain is thus hardwired for speech, not reading. Reading is a learned skill that requires years of instruction and practice. Many learners might enter their first year of schooling with an academic deficit due to many confounding variables such as up to 40 or more learners in a class; a dysfunctional microsystem amongst others. This could result in the learner not achieving the required level to proceed to the next grade. Many learners are promoted to the next grade but might need educational support. These learners might never get the appropriate support needed to ameliorate the barriers to learning experienced. These learners might thus never achieve the reading skills needed to read to learn in the higher grades.

How does the president of the USA link the use of tylenol by mom's to the possible cause of autism in children. This sounds so ridiculous that someone can make such a statement without relevant credible scientific evidence from the proper scientists and medical teams.
Most of The medical field is dismissing Trump's ridiculous statement.. What do the parents of autistic children and Autism western Cape and Autism SA say about this statement by the USA president.. I believe we should continue supporting our Autistic children and their parents. i know of parents who have seen many positive changes in their austistic children as they continue supporting them. We cannot be blaming the mothers and parents of the children. We need to check the science and check what the DSM- V diagnostic and statistics manuel teaches is about autism.. Also listen to what the sound medical field is saying.. WE MUST NOT LISTEN to what Trump and Kennedy Jr is telling the world!! They come up with Myths and ridiculous statements. I would like to hear from our parents' sound advice as they have been doing wonders for many many years in this field. Amen!!🙏🙏🌷🌷 God bless! Parents of Autistic Children Unite and stand up for what you believe!! Make your voices heard!!

Thank all those amazing teachers whose dedication and commitment to their students goes well beyond the curriculum.
Those teachers that help kids to see that learning isn’t just about a test result or a grade but rather help us to become the best versions of ourselves.
For those of us with a learning difference, there are some teachers that become our heroes and our lifelines.
Teachers change lives every day and their influence can never be measured.
I’m so lucky to have had the most amazing teachers in my life and we thank all those teachers who ‘see’ us as the amazing individuals we are.
We are so grateful that you are part of our dyslexia community!
