Ojiji is a vehicle to celebrate African art, artists and youth.

At Ojiji, we see it every day.

A quiet shift.
A new confidence.
A young artist beginning to believe in their own voice.

Change doesn’t arrive in headlines.
It begins in studios, in conversations, in moments of trust and guidance.

When we create space for young creators to explore, question and express - we’re not just supporting art. We’re shaping the people who will shape tomorrow.

If you believe in investing in potential, we’d love to build with you.

A wonderful visit from St Stithians today. We’re always inspired by schools that prioritise thoughtful learning and meaningful experiences.

Time spent with Azeal - learning from his incredible knowledge and artistry.

Grateful for the insight, the detail, and the craftsmanship shared with us.

This is what a normal day looks like at Little Artists School.

Hands busy. Music playing. Focused faces. Big ideas taking shape.

There’s no rush to the finish line here.
Just practice, process and progress - day after day.

This is where confidence is built.

We’re so excited to be welcoming Azael back today, with open arms 🤍

We’re deeply grateful as he helps direct and curate Threaded - and so much more still to come.

Art transformed Azael Langa’s life, and today he shared his inspiring personal story with our young creators, reminding them that dreams have the power to unlock a better tomorrow - and that you should never stop believing in them. 💫✨

So grateful to for such a generous donation to The Little Artists 🤍

Karen, so kindly organised for a portion of their book drive to come our way, and what a gift it’s been.
Our kids received beautiful backpacks, art supplies, water bottles, and the sweetest goodie bags (toys, crayons, activity books, and sweets!) — pure joy all round.
Thank you to everyone who helps make moments like this possible.

It really does take a village.

Thank you, Kingsmead. ❤️❤️

P.S. We will share pictures once we distribute with the kids, too.

What a day. What a vibe. What a community. 🎄✨

Our Christmas party was filled with laughter, full tummies (thank you, 🔥🐔), and the kind of joy that reminds us why community matters so much. From little ones tucking into their favourites, to decorations bringing the festive magic, to special moments on stage celebrating achievements and awards - every corner of the room felt alive with pride and togetherness.

A massive thank you to Nando’s for generously sponsoring the day and helping us create a celebration our kids will remember. This wasn’t just a party - it was a moment of connection, celebration, and shared joy.

Here’s to community, to showing up for one another, and to ending the year on the highest note possible. ❤️✨

This artwork was created by one of our emerging artists, Bryan.
He graduated from The Little Artists School two years ago — and this piece was one of the first works of his that I ever saw. I loved it immediately.

Today, Bryan is part of our team. He helps the younger children in class when he is able, and spends hours with Edward refine his own talent and skill and is steadily developing his own artistic voice. Both of his younger sisters attend The Little Artists School too — creativity runs in their family.

At Ojiji, our aim is simple: to give young artists the environment, the materials, and the encouragement to take their work seriously. What they create isn’t a school assignment or a cute project — it’s real art. Real skill.

When the children see their work being valued — whether in exhibitions, products, or collaborations — something genuine happens:
they start to value themselves differently too.

Bryan’s journey is one of many.

We’ve taken Christmas and made it our own - an African-bright celebration filled with colour, imagination, and the voices of young artists.

And Exclusive Books is helping us turn imagination into real impact.
Our Christmas wrapping paper and gift bags are now on shelves nationwide.

Today, we want to celebrate one of the creators behind the range: Charmaine, age 12.

Charmaine is a thoughtful, bright young artist who attends Leeds Business College. Her best subject is maths, but on weekends you’ll usually find her drawing, painting, or spending time with friends. She loves Tyla, K-POP, and collage - and she’s passionate about understanding herself and building true friendships.

This year, Charmaine helped design one of the design featured in our Christmas collection.
Her creativity, her colours, her imagination are now part of something people across South Africa will wrap their gifts in.

Every purchase supports art education in Braamfontein — funding workshops, supplies, and mentorship for the next generation of creators like Charmaine.

It’s gifting with purpose.
Packaging with meaning.
Impact you can hold in your hands.

At Ojiji, art is more than expression - it’s transformation.
Every project helps young artists see what’s possible, and then become it. 💫
