**العفو الغفور… اسمان يملآن القلب رجاءً**

من أعظم ما يتقرب به العبد إلى الله أن يتعرف إلى أسمائه الحسنى، ومن هذه الأسماء الجليلة: **العفو** و**الغفور**.

**العفو**: هو الذي يمحو الذنوب ويزيل آثارها، فلا يؤاخذ بها عبده، وكأنها لم تكن. والعفو أبلغ من المغفرة؛ لأن المغفرة ستر الذنب وعدم العقوبة عليه، أما العفو فهو محو الذنب وإزالته بالكلية.

أما **الغفور**: فهو كثير المغفرة، واسع الرحمة، الذي يغفر لعباده ذنوبهم مهما عظمت إذا صدقت توبتهم وأنابوا إليه، قال تعالى:
﴿وَإِنِّي لَغَفَّارٌ لِمَنْ تَابَ وَآمَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا ثُمَّ اهْتَدَى﴾ [طه: 82].

وقد جمع النبي ﷺ بين طلب العفو من الله في أعظم الليالي، فقال لعائشة رضي الله عنها عندما سألته ماذا تقول إن وافقت ليلة القدر:
«اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي».

فإذا أذنب العبد فلا ييأس، وإذا قصّر فلا يقنط، بل يطرق باب ربه دائمًا، فهو سبحانه العفو الذي يمحو، والغفور الذي يستر ويغفر.

**اللهم يا عفو يا غفور، اعفُ عنا واغفر لنا ولوالدينا ولجميع المسلمين، إنك أنت الغفور الرحيم.**
