LVan update.
Today LVan celebrated national mountain climbing day . The program was graced by school principal, vice principal along with all the teachers and staffs. Mr Kiran Gurung ( Md Glacier tour & treks) and Avanish Gurung were a resource person of the day. The program started with opening speech by school vice principal and welcoming the resource person of the day. One minute silence was observed in memory of the mountaineer who lost their life in recent mountain mischief. The program further kicked off with speeches and charts demonstration by students. Mr Kiran Gurung resource person gave brief basic knowledge about rock and mountain climbing, Along with his associate various demonstration were performed showing how the different tools were used during trekking and climbing, children experience the tent pitching technique.
Children were given 40 minutes as observation period to study different display kits and tools,during which they were able to interact one to one with resource person. The LVA felicitate Mr K. Gurung with felicitation Letter for his selfless voluntarily contribution to school with all required tools and kits and sharing his experiences with the children. The program concluded with vote of thanks from the school staff.
