آج جامعہ کوہاٹ کے مین گیٹ کے سامنے ایک انتہائی دلخراش واقعہ پیش آیا، جہاں ایمرجنسی کیئر ٹیکنالوجی کے فائنل سمسٹر کے دو طالب علموں، باسط سجاد اور فواد خٹک سے اسلحے کے زور پر موبائل فون چھین لیے گئے۔ متاثرہ دونوں طلباء خٹک سٹوڈنٹ ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن کے سرگرم اور فعال رکن ہیں۔
اس بزدلانہ واقعے کے فوری بعد تمام طلباء تنظیموں اور فیڈریشنز کے صدور کا ایک ہنگامی مشاورتی اجلاس طلب کیا گیا۔ رات کی تاخیر کے باوجود طلباء کی کثیر تعداد نے اپنے بھائیوں کے ساتھ اظہارِ یکجہتی کے لیے جمع ہو کر یہ ثابت کر دیا کہ طالب علموں کا اتحاد ناقابلِ تسخیر ہے۔
یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ اور ضلعی پولیس کو متنبہ کیا جاتا ہے کہ طلباء کی جان و مال کا تحفظ یقینی بنایا جائے۔ واقعے کے خلاف بھرپور احتجاج اور آئندہ کے سخت لائحہ عمل کا اعلان کل جلد ہی کر دیا جائے گا۔

Following our protest, KUST has officially advertised for permanent faculty positions.

PBC Registration:
The registration process with the Pakistan Bar Council is in progress, with results expected within the next two weeks.

We are pleased to share a significant milestone, the advertisement for permanent faculty positions in the Law Department has been officially released. As this is a primary requirement of the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC), we are confident that the NOC issue will be resolved in the near future. Given the dedicated efforts of the Law Society KUST (LSK), we look forward to sharing more positive updates soon.
