Did you know that baby carriers mimic in-arms carrying? Check baby's position by hugging them after settling into the carrier; their position should not shift significantly in your embrace. A carrier is an excellent tool for keeping baby close when you need your arms free!

This is the Carried Close fam!
Hi everyone! I’m Jenn, and these are my two boys that sparked the beginning of Carried Close. My journey as their mom is what has led me to doula work. With my first baby, I found my way into the world of babywearing, breastfeeding, and cultivating community among parents as we all tried to figure out what the heck we are doing! (Spoiler alert: 7.5 years later, I’m still trying to do just that!) As I prepared to welcome my second son, I began training as a Maternal Support Practitioner, and Childbirth Educator. The current state of the world has led me to plan how I can bring my services online to be able to connect virtually with anyone seeking encouragement, guidance, and information around all things birth, postpartum, and parenting. I look forward to connecting with you!

I am very excited to be creating a series of classes and workshops, as well as some adapted doula services, to bring online and offer virtually!
Your pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and early parenting journey may look a little different this year than you thought it would. My goal is to help you feel prepared to welcome a new baby to your family by empowering you through education, support, and encouragement.
