Really enjoyed our trip to PLAY expo in Blackpool yesterday, even if the weather was particularly sh*te.. it’s so nice to see so many disparate consoles and computers in one place & have the chance to play on them! my own personal favourite was the Zx Spectrum Next (even if the controls seemed a bit loose) but coming a close second was the Atari ST 500 as I love using a proper ‘clicky’ keyboard! wish I’d had one of those back in the day.. speaking of clique, I went to the “women in retro gaming” talk; I may have enjoyed it more if I had got some of the IN jokes so, after 40 minutes, I left.. Villordsuch was there with his family but I didn’t feel it was fair to intrude on their family time so let them be. Overall, an excellent time was had by all 👍🏻
