Join us as we celebrate the finish line with the Alfred State Great Race team on Sunday, June 28 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Dog Haus Biergarten!

Alumni and friends are invited to stop by for this complimentary gathering to connect with fellow Pioneers, meet the team, and celebrate Alfred State’s participation in this exciting event.

Alfred State Commencement 2026 Alfred State celebrates the Class of 2026 during Commencement Ceremonies.

💙💛 We are asking the Alfred State community to come together in support of one of our own. 💙💛

Kyle Sager, a 2014 graduate of Alfred State’s Heavy Equipment Operations program, was recently involved in a devastating workplace accident at the Hornell High School gymnasium renovation that resulted in a severe spinal cord injury. Kyle has since undergone major surgery and is facing a long and uncertain road to recovery.

Kyle’s connection to Alfred State runs deep- his wife, Marybeth, is a 2016 graduate of the Financial Planning program, and his father, Robert, is a 1981 graduate of Agriculture.

During his time at Alfred State, Kyle worked on the college farm and at Friendly’s, where he met Marybeth. Since then, he has built a life defined by hard work, dedication, and care for others- qualities that many of our Alfred State alumni embody.

As Kyle and his family navigate the challenges ahead, including extended medical care, time away from work, and frequent travel for treatment, they have created a GoFundMe to help support his recovery. Throwback Thursday 🍻📸
We’re only throwing it back a Pebbles length this week with a few photos from our recent Rochester Area Alumni gathering at Preservation Beer Co.!

Alumni gathered for a casual evening of connection, great conversation, and plenty of Alfred State memories. We were also excited to have Architecture Professor Bill Dean join us for the evening before many stayed for “Name That Tune” hosted by John Lewis. 🎶

Events like these are such a great reminder that the Alfred State connection continues long after graduation, and we’re looking forward to even more opportunities to reconnect during Alumni Reunion Weekend this June!

Year #1 a success for the colleges and for the community.....but we want that trophy on our campus next year!!

What a pleasure it was to have Alfred State Development Fund Board Member and 1980 alum- Michael Knittel on the Wellsville Campus to provide support for the 2026 Alfred State Great Race team. He will be meeting up with them when they stroll through New Mexico June 24th and 25th!
