🎶♻️ Little Hands, Big Music! ♻️🎶

This video showcases the amazing musical instruments made from recycled materials by the talented children of Section A of the Primary School. 🪇🎵
Through creativity, teamwork, and imagination, our young learners transformed everyday recyclable objects into unique musical instruments, discovering that music can be created anywhere and from anything! 🌍✨
After designing and building their instruments, the children enthusiastically tested them, exploring sounds, rhythms, and melodies while developing their creativity, coordination, and confidence.
We are incredibly proud of their commitment, enthusiasm, and ability to turn simple materials into something truly special. This project reminds us that learning is most meaningful when it is hands-on, joyful, and shared with others.

Tambourines from plates, made by children! 🎶 🎵 🥳
The children from the middle group „Crickets” explored the world of sounds through a creative rhythmic game, combining movement in a circle with percussion, using improvised tambourines (paper plates with bells).
For the little ones, this game:
✨Develops motor skills and attention by alternating between walking, rhythm, and stopping.
✨Stimulates harmonious group synchronization.
✨Promotes creativity by transforming simple objects (plates) into musical instruments.

Building unconventional musical instruments from recycled materials has given children the opportunity to actively explore and experience music, promoting personal growth, inclusion, and creativity. This hands-on approach helps develop motor skills, emotional awareness, and coordination.

Because these instruments are not bound by rigid techniques or rules, they allow every child to express themselves freely from an early age, encouraging participation, self-confidence, and a genuine love for music.

Rhythm, music and joy... with two plates! 🎶 🎵
Each child in the middle group „Crickets” uses paper plates as percussion instruments, combining musical rhythm with synchronized movements: rhythmic clapping of the plates, waving and raising of arms, circular movements and static moments during musical breaks. Through this rhythmic game, the little ones develop their coordination and attention, while stimulating their imagination by transforming simple everyday objects into educational musical instruments.🥰

Hello everyone. Tigrići Group, older group 5-6 years
The balloon is filling
Goal - development of self-regulation and awareness of breathing.
Activity: children sit in a circle, the educator plays and counts up to 4 equal beats on the drum. Children inhale through their noses, hold their breath, and exhale through their mouths. At the same time, they use their hands to show how the balloon fills and empties.

Hello everyone. Tigrići Group, older group 5-6 years. Croatia.
We have conducted various activities related to rhythmic integration and self-regulation (4-beat breathing rhythm) through simple, playful and developmentally appropriate musical activities that connect breathing, movement, rhythm and playing. We are sending recordings of two exercises with which we wanted to develop: -self-regulation and emotional control, -improve concentration and attention, -development of rhythmic and musical abilities, -strengthening coordination of movement and breathing.
1. Traveling percussion
Goal - connecting rhythm, breathing and cooperation.
Children sit in pairs facing each other, percussion travels from one child to another. When inhaling, we beat the rhythm 4 times, when handing over we exhale.

✨ **Music therapy and movement through rhythm – “sake, sake, sake… up, up, up… down, down, down”** ✨
As part of a music therapy activity, preschool children were invited to participate in a simple but extremely captivating musical game that combines rhythm, movement and coordination.
Sitting in a circle, in a sitting position, each child held a large circle made of light material (foam/strings/flexible “snake”). To the rhythm of the music and verbal instructions:
🔸 “sake, sake, sake” – the children shook the circle, following the rhythmic pulse
🔸 “up, up, up” – they raised the circle above their heads
🔸 “down, down, down” – they lowered the circle to the ground
This simple alternation created a game of synchronization, attention and joy, transforming the movement into a collective musical experience.
Benefits of the activity:
✔ development of gross motor coordination
✔ stimulation of attention and concentration
✔ learning through imitation and rhythm
✔ awareness of the body scheme (up–down)
✔ development of rhythmic hearing and musical sense
✔ increased cooperation and interaction in a group
✔ emotional regulation through movement and music
Through such playful exercises, children learn naturally, with a smile on their faces, and music becomes a true instrument of harmonious development. 🎶💛

💫👏🎶 Body Percussion Rhythm Game 👏✨🎵

Middle Group “Isteții” (4–5 years old)
✨ The children enthusiastically participated in a body percussion rhythm game, using clapping to create and reproduce different rhythms. By listening carefully to the music, they adapted their movements according to changes in tempo and intensity.
💫 Through individual and group clapping activities, the children developed their coordination, attention, and sense of rhythm. They responded promptly to instructions and worked together to maintain a common rhythm, enjoying the shared musical experience.
🎶 The activity gave the children the opportunity to discover their own bodies as musical instruments, to express themselves freely through rhythm, and to actively engage in an educational and enjoyable experience. Through play and music, they strengthened their self-confidence, teamwork skills, and the joy of learning through movement. ✨🎶👏💫
