Be Part of “The Senior Spirit Movement”
In April 2013, the idea for The Arbutus “Senior Spirit” Awards was launched. These awards “Recognize, Appreciate & Thank” seniors who volunteer their time and efforts to create positive change in the lives of others. On April 25, 2014, nearly 200 attendees and over 30 sponsors joined the movement and raised over $16,000 for the Arbutus Benevolent Care Fund.

This event sparked a movement! “Senior Spirit” has moved beyond the awards event with a mission to create a ongoing campaign to assist seniors with a goal to live an active, meaningful life. Senior Spirit has volunteer, educational, and community program opportunities available. We invite you to be a part of the movement that will allow Seniors to live with “Spirit”
