As we welcome the blessed month of Muharram and the Islamic New Year 1448 Hijri, the AIU Islamic Finance Students’ Society extends heartfelt wishes of peace, blessings, and prosperity to everyone.

The arrival of Muharram serves as a meaningful reminder to reflect on our past, seek forgiveness from Allah, renew our intentions, and strive towards becoming better versions of ourselves in the year ahead.

The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are not ordinary time. They are among the most beloved days to Allah.

Days of remembrance, sacrifice, and sincerity. Days where small deeds carry great weight in the sight of Allah.

Yet they often pass while we are distracted, as though we were guaranteed more time.

This is a reminder for the heart. Do not let what is most valuable become what is most neglected.

May Allah allow us to make the most of these blessed days, forgive our shortcomings, and accept our deeds with sincerity.
