Hi all. Don't forget that it is the Friends Meeting at 7pm in school on Tuesday - the more faces at the meeting the better to plan things for the summer and early into the next school year. We are all volunteers and lead hectic lifestyles but we need more people to help put things on for your children! Thanks. Mark

Hi Everyone! I've bought all the wrapping paper for the pocket money stall, it just now needs cutting up!! I've put some of the rolls in the school office so if you can find the time to cut up 2 or 3 rolls please pop in and pick some up! Thankyou! Alison

Hi all. Please remember to come and support St Gabriel's School through attending the AGM from 6:30 tomorrow in the school hall. There will be a short Friends meeting straight after to plan for the Pocket Money Stall and Christmas fundraisers. As the chair of the group I am extremely concerned about the sustainability of such events due to the fall in numbers of those willing to support the Association. We meet once every two months to help put together fundraisers that create money that all go back into your child's education. Without more support I feel that the Friends might fold over the next few years which in turn will mean YOUR children missing out on trips, leavers gifts, new school items and new playground improvements. We are all busy...I work at a school Mon - Fri and then have various clubs to get the kids to over the course of the week and weekend - I know this is the same for all those that are part of the process already - but without more of you we will have to cut down the things we do.

Hi! If anyone has any receipts for money due for expenses for the fun day please could you leave them in the school office in the morning. I will pop in at lunchtime to pick them up.

Due to the adverse weather, the candy floss machine had to be tested indoors! Our smoke alarms have been going off, there's candy floss hanging from my dining room lights - IT'S WORKING!!!!!! (and I wouldn't be taking my job seriously if I didn't test the produce......😂)
