You can't know in advance which one hits your position first: a lawsuit, a divorce, a tax audit, a dead hard drive or a death with no instructions left behind. None of them show up on a price chart, and any one of them can take the position to zero

What you can do is build the structure that survives all of them: custody no single person can drain, titling that survives a claim, clean tax records, estate access that works without you and a written answer to who decides what

JUST MAKE SO MUCH MONEY YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE TAXES.

Everyone talks about fleeing California, New York or the UK. Setting up an offshore trust. Moving to Puerto Rico. But the wealthiest people in those states could leave any day, and they don't. They like living there enough that the 13% state tax doesn't move the needle.

The whole point of being wealthy is getting to live where you want, not where the tax code lets you.

The business writes the rent off as an expense, and you receive that income tax-free. Use it for board meetings, off-sites and strategy days. Swift has almost certainly been testing blockchain settlement for the better part of a decade.

Through Corda, Ripple and other counterparties, it's reasonable to assume small-scale testing has been going on at today's price levels. The point of those trials is to confirm the network can handle settlement at scale before anyone adopts it fully. Formally or informally, the infrastructure has had years to be stress-tested before any public announcement.
