বাংলাদেশের জনগণের পরম প্রিয়জন জাতীয় কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের ১২৭তম জন্মবার্ষিকীতে তাঁর চির-অম্লান স্মৃতির প্রতি জানাই গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও ভালোবাসা। তাঁকে স্মরণ করছি অনিঃশেষ কৃতজ্ঞতার সঙ্গে। কামনা করি তাঁর বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফেরাত।

আমাদের জাতীয় ইতিহাসের অবিস্মরণীয় নাম কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম। পরাধীন, পর্যুদস্ত, পরাভূত জাতির ভাগ্যাকাশে তাঁর আবির্ভাব ছিল আলোকবর্তিকার মতো। দিকনির্দেশক বাতিঘরের মতো। মুমূর্ষু জাতিকে জাগিয়ে দিয়ে সামগ্রিকভাবে সচেতন করার জন্য, স্বয়ংসম্পূর্ণ করার জন্য যে সর্বপ্লাবী প্রতিভার তখন দরকার হয়ে পড়েছিল, জাতীয় কবি ছিলেন সেই প্রার্থিত ও বহু কাঙ্ক্ষিত প্রতিভা।

কাজী নজরুল ইসলামের পুরো জীবনটাই যেন ছিল এক যুদ্ধ ঘোষণা। একটা অনন্যসাধারণ বিদ্রোহ। এই বিদ্রোহ ঔপনিবেশিক শাসন, পরাধীনতা, জুলুম, নির্যাতন, শোষণ, অসাম্য, বৈষম্য, কুসংস্কার, ধর্মীয় গোঁড়ামি, সাম্প্রদায়িকতার বিরুদ্ধে; তথা সকল অন্যায়, অবিচার ও অসুন্দরের বিরুদ্ধে।

মানুষ, মানবতা, স্বাধীনতা, শোষণমুক্ত সমাজ ও নারীমুক্তির জন্য তাঁর চেয়ে বেশি শিল্পসফল শব্দ আর কেউ রচনা করেননি। তিনিই আমাদের প্রথম কবি, সাংবাদিক, রাজনীতিক যিনি ঔপনিবেশিক পরাধীনতার বিরুদ্ধে উপমহাদেশের পূর্ণ স্বাধীনতা দাবি করেন। জাতি, ধর্ম, বর্ণ, গোত্র- নির্বিশেষে মানুষের প্রতি তাঁর যে দরদ ও দীপ্ত অঙ্গীকার তা তুলনাহীন।

মাতৃভূমিকে ভালোবাসার ক্ষেত্রেও তিনি আমাদের অন্যতম প্রধান দিশারি। আমাদের জীবন, আশা-আকাঙ্ক্ষা, স্বপ্ন, সংগ্রাম, সাহিত্য, সংস্কৃতি, ইতিহাস, ঐতিহ্য তাঁর রচনার মধ্যে মহিমাময় সৌন্দর্যে প্রাণবন্ত হয়ে উঠেছে। তাঁর সৃষ্টিশীলতার মধ্যে আতিথ্য আছে সকল কালের সকল মানুষের। অন্যায়-অবিচারের বিরুদ্ধে লড়াই করার ক্ষেত্রে তিনি আমাদের প্রধান পাথেয়। তাঁর প্রাসঙ্গিকতা ও প্রয়োজন কখনো ফুরানোর নয়।

আমাদের মুক্তিযুদ্ধে ও জুলাই গণঅভ্যুত্থানে তাঁর কবিতা ও গান যেমন ছিল অনুপ্রেরণার প্রবল উৎস, তেমনই আমাদের সকল আন্দোলন-সংগ্রামে তাঁর সৃষ্টিশীলতাই হয়ে ওঠে প্রতিবাদ প্রতিরোধের মূল ভাষা। তিনি আমাদের যাপিত জীবনের অনিবার্য অংশ। বাংলা কাব্য-সংগীতে তাঁর আবির্ভাব ছিল ধূমকেতুর মতো বিস্ময়ময় ও অভূতপূর্ব। মাত্র দুই দশকের সাধনা দিয়ে তিনি জাতিকে করে গেছেন আত্মপ্রত্যয়মণ্ডিত। নির্মাণ করে দিয়ে গেছেন জাতীয় সাহিত্য-সংস্কৃতির পাটাতন। সত্যিকার অর্থেই তিনি জাতীয় রেনেসাঁর নিশানবরদার। আবার তিনি বাংলাদেশের জাতীয় কবি হয়েও সারা পৃথিবীর নিঃস্ব, রিক্ত মজলুম মানুষের আত্মার আত্মীয়।

বাংলাদেশ ও কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম এক অবিভাজ্য সত্তা। তিনি বিশ্ব কবিসভারও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নায়ক। তিনি আমাদের জাতীয় সত্তার সার্থক প্রতিনিধি, আমাদের জাতীয় চেতনার প্রতীক। আমাদের জাতীয়তাবাদের পথিকৃৎ। জাতীয় কবির জন্মদিনে আমরা অন্যায়, অবিচার, ক্ষুধা, দারিদ্র ও বিভেদের গ্লানি মুছে ফেলে সবার আগে বাংলাদেশকে ধারণ করে, আমাদের স্বাধীনতাকে অর্থবহ করে, সুখী-সমৃদ্ধ গণতান্ত্রিক মাতৃভূমির জন্য নিজেদের নিবেদিত করাই হোক আমাদের প্রত্যয়।

H.E. Ms. Shama Obaed Islam, MP, Hon'ble State Minister for Foreign Affairs met H. E. Mr. Ryad Mezzour, Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade in Rabat this afternoon. Highlighting Bangladesh’s improved investment landscape, the State Minister proposed the exchange of business delegations to promote greater commercial interaction. In response, the Moroccan Industry Minister expressed his intention to send a business delegation to Bangladesh by the end of 2026. Commending the existing partnership in the agricultural sector, the State Minister called for strengthening G2G cooperation to ensure a more reliable and efficient supply chain of phosphate exports, thereby contributing to Bangladesh’s agricultural development and food security. She also reiterated Bangladesh’s readiness to work with Morocco in promoting eco-friendly jute and jute goods in the Moroccan market. Both leaders pledged deeper cooperation in innovation, industrial training, ICT and artificial intelligence. They further discussed the prospect of a Free Trade Agreement between the two countries to further strengthen bilateral trade relations.
