Our non-profit branch brings live music performance to underserved communities around the US. Astronauts SEL provides evidence-based Social Emotional Learning (SEL) training and consulting to K12 schools and districts within the US. Using the science of positive psychology, mindfulness, and organizational development, we help students, teachers, administrators, and parents create environments which support the well-being, learning, and thriving of all stakeholders. As part of its mission to improve climates and cultures of organizations and through partnerships with local music schools, Astronauts music program produces live performance events to its clients and underserved communities. The Astronauts music program was Founded in 2010 as a small group of musicians in Berkeley, California through a partnership with Alzheimer's Services of the East Bay. The Astronauts leverage the talents of musicians to bring joy to many populations that have been traditionally underserved. The Astronauts music program offers engagements in schools and service centers around the bay area, including elderly care facilities, transitional care homes, and other service providers.
