The Niger Delta University (NDU) Business School recently hosted an impactful workshop on Procurement and Supply Chain Management. which was well-attended by leaders and representatives from all tertiary institutions across Bayelsa State.
The facilitator, Engr. Nelson Ojougboh,an astute capacity-building expert from the Bureau of Public Procurement with years of cognate research and hands-on experience,spoke extensively on the theme, "Re-engineering the Procurement System in Tertiary Institutions in Bayelsa State for Efficient Service Delivery." His presentation highlighted salient points from public procurement laws, documentation, and operations, all of which are essential to boosting the capacities and capabilities of accounting officers, procurement officers, and other stakeholders within the procurement value chain.
The NDU Business School extends its sincere gratitude to the Chief Host and Vice-Chancellor of Niger Delta University, Prof. Allen A. Agih, and to all the participants who contributed to the day's success. It was a privilege for the Dean of the Business School, Prof. Miebi Ugwuzor, to host such a distinguished group.

We trust that the insights gained from this workshop will significantly enhance the procurement and supply chain management processes in the organisations.
