Cluster Meet 2025: Buan Elementary School Makes a Splash with Impressive Wins
Buan Elementary School's athletes made a significant splash at the Sports Cluster Meet 2025, securing a series of impressive victories across various sporting events and demonstrating exceptional skill and sportsmanship.
Among the standout performers was Christine Belec, a Grade 6 student who showcased remarkable versatility. Belec clinched first place in both the javelin throw and long jump events, demonstrating her strength and agility. In the challenging 400-meter dash, where she secured second place, Christine Belic and her coach, Rechelyn G. Daverao, celebrated outstanding achievements!
Another athlete making waves was Rhea Jean T. Doquilo, a Grade 5 student who demonstrated exceptional badminton skills. Doquilo excelled in badminton singles and, with her partner, also dominated in badminton doubles (Set A), showcasing her talent in both individual and team competitions. Her passion and dedication were evident in her outstanding performances.
Judelyn Amanda, a Grade 6 student, also made a significant contribution to Buan Elementary School's success by securing first place in badminton singles (Set B ).Adding to her accomplishments, Judelyn was a key member of the first-place badminton doubles team (Set A ). Judelyn's exceptional skills were clearly on display throughout the competition. Known for her kind spirit and remarkable talent, Judelyn exemplifies the values of sportsmanship and dedication.
Adding to the list of badminton champions, Eunice Limlao and Nice Alegado displayed exceptional teamwork and skill, securing first place in badminton doubles (Set B ). Their dedication and hard work paid off handsomely.
These badminton wins are a remarkable achievement and have a great impact on Buan Elementary School, reflecting the dedication and skill of the athletes and the guidance of their coach, Yenyen Dinampo.
The sepak takraw team also showcased their skills and determination, finishing in 3rd place. Despite not winning first place, the team and their coach Joy K. Libuangan are proud of their efforts and happy to represent Buan Elementary School.
These achievements, with the unwavering support of our school head, Sir Allan R. Matunhay, have brought immense pride to Buan Elementary School, its teachers, and staff, creating unforgettable moments of joy and unity.
