When you are afflicted with a muṣībah (ie: calamity) perhaps that muṣībah is good for you.
إذا أصبت بمصيبة ربما تكون تلك المصيبة خيرا لك،

Whether that calamity was in your wealth,
سواء أكانت تلكم المصيبة في مالك

Your body or in any other thing that pains and worries you.
أو كانت في جسدك أو كانت في أي شيء يؤلمك و يقلقك،

It could be a reason to raise you in this world and in the Hereafter.
ربما يكون سببا لرفع شأنك في الدنيا والآخرة.
