Joining in with the set by the wonderful David Tovey, a member of the Associates Leadership Programme at Arts & Homelessness International. What an incredible story ❤️

I used my rediscovering art during covid that opened up a whole new world for me , & made me reflect on the power of words and how they can limit your life if you let them .

A dance with lavender -unlocking my creative

Inspired by the dancing lavender in my garden they would become the first thing I painted with watercolours in over 40 years. At High School I was shamed when showing a drawing I created. Those words led me to abandon any love I had for art and creativity. During Covid the womens group I founded began sharing their gifts and I was inspired by the painters who shared their love so freely . I began painting and writing poetry and the unlocking began ……as I step into 2023 I reflect on how the dancing lavender led me to immerse myself into learning watercolour painting , felting and eco printing , blending my learning ,creating new adventures and unlocking a part of me who has been set free to dance too ❤️

That’s a lot of wool 🥰😊😮 created over the last few weeks been like living with a little dog 😮😂 putting on wooden blocks to help with moving around , Bluebell is quite heavy ❤️
