Tikkun Olam primary school was founded in 2015 by Mayende Yoash a strong member of Namutumba Jewish Tikkun Olam is a Hebrew phrase meaning restoring the world.
Tikkun Olam Nursery and Primary School is found in Uganda, Namutumba District Magada village. It is 1 kilometre away from Mbale Iganga road in Magada Sub County. The school was founded by the youth of Namutumba Abayudaya community in order for our young children to attain their education as well as being free to participate in their Jewish culture. We believe that providing Knowledge to young people is a great mitzvah that we can offer in our time. Shalom hacal Haverim. - "And together we can"

We are remaining with hours to enter another year 2026. And also choosing the next president of uganda is only 15days remaining. We are likely to have rockdown before and after the anouncement of the result. We are expecting internet disconnection to cut us off from the rest of the world for somedays. Get prepared in time. Store some food especially for the children. Shalom

Shabbat shalom. Last week we concluded the festival of Hannukah. In Sydney our brothers where massacred while concluding the lighting of the eith candle. Are we safe? How will our children do if this is the path we are taking?

To all my friends in Uganda. We are in a caotic season of xmass. And political struggle, keep your children close to you. We are having one month holiday out of the two. In the coming thirty days how are you keeping your child. Do not give other people to over see your child. I love you all. Shalom
