Pre-SOMA at Virginia Tech Pre-Student Osteopathic Medical Association at Virginia Tech is a club that actively promotes and spreads awareness of osteopathic medicine.

The Pre - Student Osteopathic Medical Association at Virginia Tech is an organization dedicated to the principles of Osteopathic Medicine. This organization is focused on educating students on the only growing profession among physicians, Doctors of Osteopathic medicine (D.O), which composes 33% of the total population of Doctors in the United States today. We accomplish this by utilizing our clos

e-knit relationship with VCOM; this grants us access to accomplished D.Os, and current students enthusiastic to speak about their experiences in the profession, and offer guidance to aspiring applicants, but we extend beyond VCOM, any medical school open house registration is shared, allowing us to plan trips to different regions in order to find the best fit school, osteopathic or allopathic, meant for you.
