BE Global Camp Day 8 🌏💚
This was a meaningful day focused on service and community engagement.
Students visited the Center of Dreams, a community initiative connected with the Bangkok Community Help Foundation. During the visit, they learned about a rooftop vegetable garden project that creates job opportunities for people experiencing homelessness while supporting local food initiatives. Afterward, everyone rolled up their sleeves and worked together to prepare 200 meals for elderly and bedridden members of the community.
A powerful day of learning, giving back, and witnessing the impact of community-driven work. 🌱🍲

Traditional Herbal Medicine
Dove into the world of traditional Thai herbal medicine and even made our own herbal inhalers using fresh ingredients straight from nature. Such a cool hands on way to learn about centuries old healing practices.
Later we explored Sireeruckhachati Nature Learning Park at Mahidol University, where we discovered and tasted different herbs, spotted beautiful birds, and wandered through lush gardens filled with incredible plants. Every corner felt alive with knowledge and natural beauty. Day 7 was all about slowing down, breathing deep, and connecting with nature 🌱

As the Bioresources and Environmental Biology Global Winter Camp 2025 comes to a close, we are reflecting on days filled with curiosity, connection, and learning that extended far beyond the classroom.
From cultural exchange to community engagement to moments of quiet reflection and shared laughter, this camp was a reminder of what it means to learn with the world, not just about it. Each experience challenged perspectives, built friendships, and deepened our understanding of place, people, and purpose.
These moments captured here are just glimpses of a much larger story shaped by collaboration, openness, and growth.
In the coming days we will post in depth about what the BE Global Camp students have been up to the past three weeks!
