Western New York Fragile X Community Support Group This is the official page of the Western New York Fragile X Community Support Group, of the National Fragile X Foundation.

Mission

The Western New York Fragile X Community Support Group is working to unite the Fragile X Community to enrich lives through emotional and educational support. In addition, our goal is to promote public and professional awareness, and to advance research towards improved treatments and a cure for Fragile X. Our hope is to have a Fragile X clinic in our area sometime in the near future. Goal

s include:
* Improving public awareness of Fragile X Syndrome
* Providing professional education
* Increasing the identification of affected families
* Providing family support
* Serving as a clearinghouse of local resources
* Advocating for services for individuals and families affected by Fragile X Syndrome
