What an amazing Monday in Stratford we had this week! 💛

It was our first class back after the summer holidays, and what a wonderful welcome it was! We were so excited to meet so many new families joining us:

We also had some very special certificate celebrations! 🎉👏

💫 Leo received his 1st Sign certificate — and he is now clapping AND waving! 👏👋 What a fantastic achievement!

💫 Noa received her 5th Sign certificate for learning “all gone” and her 10th Sign certificate for “no”!

We are so proud of all our little signers and love seeing their signing journeys grow week by week. 💛

And just like that, we’re back for a brand-new term! 🌟

In Toddlers, we’ve been learning all about ourselves and took some time to explore our reflections in the mirror. 🪞

We also celebrated some birthdays with two of our toddlers turning 2 this week!! Happy birthday to Arthur and Martha!!

In Babies, we’ve been learning about our pets and practising some useful first signs, including milk. 🐶🐱🥛

We also had the pleasure of welcoming some lovely new families today — Nova, Jesse, Arthur and Ada! 💕 And a big welcome back to Ivy, who has returned after a short break.

I hope you all loved your first class, and I’m so excited to watch you learn, grow and have lots of fun with us this term! ✨

Hello, I’m Kirsty, your local baby sign language teacher for Alcester, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick villages! 💕

I run fun and friendly baby signing and toddler signing classes using signs from British Sign Language (BSL).

Through songs, music, stories and play, we learn simple BSL signs that you can use with your baby or toddler at home, helping to support early communication and language development while having lots of fun together. 💛

I’ve been a little quiet on social media this week as I was taking a much-needed spa break. Sometimes, a little time to rest, reset and recharge is exactly what’s needed. ✨🧖‍♀️

Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish — it’s necessary. 🤍

You can’t pour from an empty cup. It’s okay to pause, rest, reset, and put your own wellbeing first sometimes.

Take the walk. Read the book. Have the quiet morning. Say no when you need to. Do whatever helps you feel like *you* again.

Because looking after yourself means you’ll have more energy, patience, and love to give — including to yourself. ✨

This week, we’ve had so much fun in our toddler class — where we started by waking up sleepy dinosaurs and then stomped (and ran) around as dinosaurs! 🦖💤🦕

It’s so lovely watching the little ones grow in confidence and develop their early communication skills through play, music and baby sign language. 🤟✨
