EDRA pilots innovative teacher-training modules with strong participation.

Between October 2025 and January 2026, EDRA successfully completed the first pilot phase of the DITTE project, bringing together more than 20 teacher-education students in Athens.

The pilot lessons focused on two key areas:
• Individual Counselling
• Professional Skills Development

👉 Through 13 structured sessions, participants explored the foundations of the therapeutic relationship, practised empathy and reflective awareness, and developed essential counselling and communication skills. Real-life case studies – including topics such as migration, neurodiversity and social inequality – supported a hands-on learning experience, encouraging systemic thinking and collaborative problem-solving.

👉 At the same time, the programme emphasised ethical decision-making, anti-discriminatory practice and multidisciplinary collaboration, preparing future teachers to work in diverse and inclusive educational environments.

👉 The pilot phase also tested a set of digital learning tools, including interactive workbooks and self-reflection resources, which will be further refined based on participant feedback.

This milestone marks an important step forward for the DITTE project, paving the way for the next phase of implementation across partner institutions in Europe.

🎓 Opening Day at Prešov University

We are delighted to launch the Train-the-Trainers programme at Prešov University, as part of the DITTE project.

The opening session placed the spotlight on a central theme: reflection as the heart of pedagogy.

✨ Reflection bridges theory and classroom practice
✨ It helps trainers meet the diverse needs of learners
✨ It keeps pedagogy dynamic, adaptive, and deeply human

Today we begin a shared journey, exploring not only new teaching methods, but also the reflective practices that make education truly transformative.

A heartfelt thank you to Prešov University for their warm welcome, and to all participants for bringing their expertise and openness to this collaborative learning experience.
