Congratulations to Pavinth A/L Karnan for winning the Silver Award – Water Resources Development Award at the National World Water Day 2026 Celebration on April 25. This success is a testament to his hard work and the excellent supervision provided by Associate Prof. Dr. Badronnisa Yusuf.

Setinggi-tinggi tahniah diucapkan kepada Prof. Madya Dr. Law Teik Hua dari Jabatan Kejuruteraan Awam, Fakulti Kejuruteraan UPM atas penganugerahan Anugerah Visibiliti Media 2025 (Kategori: Visibiliti TV/Radio) sempena Majlis Promosi UPM Bersama Media 2026 yang berlangsung gilang-gemilang di Panggung Percubaan, PKKSSAAS UPM pada 7 April 2026.
Pengiktirafan ini merupakan bukti kecemerlangan dalam memperkasakan kepakaran fakulti di platform media arus perdana. Semoga kejayaan ini menjadi inspirasi kepada seluruh warga fakulti khususnya untuk terus memacu kecemerlangan ilmu.

The Department of Civil Engineering was honored to host Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustapha Kebaili from the University of Ouargla, Algeria, for a short visit begin on March 31 until April 8, 2026.
A key highlight of the visit was his insightful guest lecture titled "Landslides of Clay Soils" delivered to our Slope Engineering students on March 31. Followed by a series of working session with Geological Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering Unit (GEGEU). His expertise provided our students and colleagues with invaluable international perspectives on geotechnical challenges.
To conclude his visit, Dr. Mustapha met with the Head of the Civil Engineering Department and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering to discuss potential future academic and research collaborations.
Thank you, Dr. Mustapha, for sharing your knowledge. We look forward to a continued partnership between our institutions. 🤝✨

We are proud to announce that our Alumnus (2024/2025), Calvin Kho Ka Yin has been honored with the IStructE Student Prize 2025! 🏆
Calvin received a certificate and an RM1,000 cash prize from The Institution of Structural Engineers Malaysia Regional Group on 14 March 2026. This prestigious award celebrates his academic excellence and dedication to Structural Engineering throughout his undergraduate studies.
