One year of Scoil Rince Glaschú 🥹
It’s hard to believe that a year ago we opened our doors for the very first time, with a little idea and a lot of excitement (and a few nerves too!).
Over the past year, we’ve watched our dancers learn their first steps, master new movements, take to the stage, compete at their first feis and major, and, most importantly, grow in confidence along the way. From our little dancers taking their first steps in Irish dancing to our older girls working towards competitions, every achievement has made the hard work behind the scenes worth it. We’ve travelled the country, celebrated some amazing results, supported each other through the nerves, and made so many memories along the way. But the best part has been seeing the friendships and confidence that have grown within our classes.
A huge thank you to all of our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and families who have supported us throughout our first year. Thank you for bringing the dancers to class, helping them practise at home, getting them ready for competitions, travelling around and cheering them on from the sidelines — but also for supporting us as teachers. Thank you for always being so understanding, encouraging and willing to get behind us. We genuinely couldn’t have built this without you. 🤍
And to our dancers — thank you for making every class, competition and event so much fun. Watching you learn, improve and grow in confidence over the past year has been the best part of starting this school. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of you🫶🏻
One year in, we’re so grateful for every dancer and family who has become part of our little school.
