📺 Today’s Bitcoin Tid₿it: While the market is fearful, freedom advocates are still building
This week, speakers at the Oslo Freedom Forum (https://oslofreedomforum.com/) were talking about Bitcoin with hope and clarity — not because the price is always up, but because Bitcoin is helping real people defend freedom in the real world.
At the very same time, more than half of all Bitcoin in circulation was sitting at an unrealized loss.
That’s the difference between sentiment and conviction. Sentiment gets shaken by price. Conviction comes from understanding what Bitcoin actually is: scarce, censorship-resistant, borderless money for a world that desperately needs better tools.
When the crowd feels fear, the mission doesn’t disappear. If anything, it becomes easier to see.
Go to YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/) to watch the talks from Alex Gladstein, Elizabeth Stark, Abubakar Nur Khalil, Sabina Waithira Gitau, Anaïse Kanimba, and others, to learn more about how Bitcoin creates a foundation for freedom where it is most needed.

📉 Today’s Bitcoin TidBit: Bitcoin Has “Died” 472 Times
For more than a decade, critics have declared Bitcoin dead again and again — 472 times, according to this chart. And yet, Bitcoin keeps coming back stronger. In fact, if someone had invested just $100 each time Bitcoin was supposedly “dead,” they’d have over $79 million today.
The lesson? The crowd is often loudest at the bottom. Bitcoin has survived bans, crashes, hacks, ridicule, and endless obituaries — because its value doesn’t come from headlines. It comes from scarcity, resilience, and a growing global recognition that sound money matters.

Feeling accomplished (and not a small amount of relief) that my Bitcoin conference presentation marathon successfully wrapped!
A Women+ Bitcoin Happy Hour, moderating a panel of 5 brilliant minds discussing a controversial topic, and then presenting 4 back-to-back beginner talks, and bringing my art installation... all on a couple nights of very little sleep and way too much adrenaline.
So grateful everything went off without a hitch; to everyone who attended; to Satoshi Nakamoto for his monumental gift to the world that I ever aspire to pay forward; to my spirit guides holding me and my vision up; and big big thanks to Daniel Prince for keeping me fed, hydrated, and hyped, as well as tons of practical support, and this fun photo. 😄

📺 Today’s Bitcoin Tid₿it: Who Was Bitcoin Made For?
Too often, Bitcoin gets explained in ways that sound like it belongs to traders, coders, or finance bros. But Bitcoin wasn’t made just for insiders. It was made for ordinary people who want a fairer way to save, send, and store value. It's for people tired of inflation, gatekeepers, and systems they don’t control. Bitcoin is for anyone ready to learn — one step, one wallet, one sat at a time.

In order to understand why Bitcoin is such an important innovation for humanity, it helps to really understand the underlying flaws of our current monetary system and the widespread domino effects that stem from them. This video breaks it all down clearly -- how we ended up with all of these intersecting crises, and how fixing the way that money works creates the sound foundation we need to rebuild better systems whose incentives are aligned with holistic wellbeing. 🌏
