ਦਸਮੇਸ਼ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਜ਼ੀਰਕਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ "ਪੁਸਤਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਉਤਸਵ" ਵਿਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਟੂਰ ਡਾ.ਕਿਰਨਪਾਲ ਕੌਰ (ਮੁਖੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਗਰਲਜ਼ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ) ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਰੇਖ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਤੀ 2-4-2026 ਨੂੰ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ,ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਥਿਤ ਕਲਾ ਭਵਨ (ਆਰਟ ਗੈਲਰੀ) ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਭਵਨ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ, ਵਿਰਾਸਤ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਗਿਆਨ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ। ਪੁਸਤਕ ਮੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖੋ- ਵੱਖਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਵੇਖਦਿਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਭਾਸ਼ਾਵਾਂ, ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਗਿਆਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ।

The Department of Economics, Dashmesh Khalsa College, organised an insightful discussion session on the SGPC Budget 2026–27. The session focused on key divisions such as infrastructure development, education, and Sarai management. Students actively participated in analysing budgetary allocations and their socio-economic implications. Special emphasis was laid on the role of SGPC in promoting educational institutions and improving facilities for pilgrims. The discussion encouraged critical thinking and awareness about institutional budgeting and governance.

The PG Department of Computer Science organized remedial classes for BCA students with the aim of enhancing their academic performance in the upcoming final university examinations. These classes were designed to provide additional support, clarify concepts, and strengthen students’ understanding of key subjects. Faculty members actively engaged with students, addressing their doubts and offering guidance to help them perform better in their examinations. The initiative reflects the department’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.

The PG Department of Computer Science organized a special tests for BCA classes as a part of revision before the final university examinations. This initiative aimed to help students assess their preparation, improve their performance, and gain confidence for the upcoming exams. The test provided valuable practice and guided students in identifying their strengths and areas for improvement.

ਸ੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਅਧੀਨ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਦਸਮੇਸ਼ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਜ਼ੀਰਕਪੁਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਯੁਵਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੱਤ ਰੋਜਾ ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਾਲਜ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਅਤੇ ਕਸਰਤ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ । ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਅਫਸਰ ਜਗਰੂਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਜਸਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੈਂਪ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਸਟੇਜ ਐਂਕਰ,ਮੋਟੀਵੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਸਪੀਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਪਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮੋਹਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੇ ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ ਦੇ ਸਰੂਪ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਬਾਰੇ ਰੌਚਕ ਤੇ ਭਾਵਪੂਰਤ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ।ਉਨਾਂ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਜ਼ ਖਾਸ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਲੜਕੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਾਰੂ ਸੋਚ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ।ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਕਰਮਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਵੱਲ੍ਹੋ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਟੇਜ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕ ਵਲੰਟੀਅਰਜ਼ ਲੜਕੀਆ ਵੱਲ੍ਹੋ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਗਈ। ਪੋਸਟਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜੱਜਮੈਂਟ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਵੰਦਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਫੈਸਰ ਬੂਵਨੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਪੋਫੈਸਰ ਰਵਿਤਾ ਸੈਣੀ ,ਡਾਕਟਰ ਸਿਮਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ,ਪੋਫੈਸਰ ਤਰਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਆਦਿ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।

The PG Department of Computer Science organized a Guest Lecture on Python Programming for the students. The resource person for the lecture was Ms. Sandeep Kaur from Guru Hargobind Singh Khalsa Girls College, Karhali Sahib.

Ms. Sandeep Kaur delivered an informative and interactive session on Python Programming. She provided practical exposure through hands-on training using Google Colab, which helped students understand the implementation of Python programs in an easy and effective manner.

She also highlighted the significance of Python in the present technological era and discussed its vast scope and relevance in the future. The lecture was very useful in developing students’ interest in programming and improving their practical skills.

The session was highly appreciated by both students and faculty members.
