How do we teach in Shared Language? What can you expect during the first few lessons?

Let's learn about the climate and the seasons:

The climate of Palestine is Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters.
Spring is short but beautiful, when wildflowers bloom before the heat sets in.
Summers are long, very hot, and dry, especially in the Jordan Valley and southern areas.
Autumn is short and warm, with cooler nights bringing relief after the summer heat.

Despite the challenges of the heat, Palestine’s diverse geography—from coastal plains to mountains and desert—makes its climate unique and full of contrasts. 🌍✨🇵🇸

مناخ فلسطين مناخ متوسطي، يتميّز بصيف طويل وحار وجاف، وشتاء معتدل وماطر أحيانًا.
الربيع قصير لكنه جميل، تتفتح فيه الأزهار البرية قبل أن يشتد الحر.
الصيف طويل وحار جدًا خاصةً في غور الأردن والمناطق الجنوبية.
الخريف قصير ودافئ، مع ليالٍ أبرد تجيب راحة بعد حر الصيف.

ورغم حرارة الطقس، تنوّع جغرافية فلسطين بين الساحل والجبال والصحراء بيخلي مناخها مميز ومليان تباين. 🌿✨🇵🇸

English:
The Palestinian Musakhan is not just a dish, it is a story of heritage and identity.
It is made of taboon bread, onions fried in local olive oil, red sumac, and roasted chicken.
Family and friends gather around the tray of Musakhan, making the dish a symbol of generosity and warm togetherness.
Traditionally, Musakhan was prepared after the olive harvest, when fresh olive oil was abundant. It became a way to celebrate the season, honor the land, and bring everyone together around one big tray.

المسخّن الفلسطيني مش بس أكلة، هو قصة تراث وهوية.
يتكوّن من خبز الطابون، البصل المقلي بزيت الزيتون البلدي، السماق الأحمر، والدجاج المحمّر.
يجتمع الأهل والأصحاب حول صينية المسخّن، ليكون الطبق رمزًا للكرم واللّمة الحلوة.
تقليديًا، كان المسخّن يُحضَّر بعد موسم قطف الزيتون، وقت ما يكون الزيت الجديد موجود بكثرة. وصار وسيلة للاحتفال بالموسم، وتكريم الأرض، ولمّ الشمل حول صينية وحدة.
