February’s most anticipated cultural event for our international students was Making Cloisonné Enamel Paintings!

Excitement filled the air as students arrived early, eager for the activity to begin. After learning about the rich history and intricate techniques of Cloisonné enamel painting from the instructor, they unleashed their creativity and immersed themselves in their artwork. With patience and dedication, they spent two hours crafting their own masterpieces, each piece reflecting their unique artistic expression.

This month is also the Chinese Spring Festival, and when the Spring Festival and January's Culture Corner activities merged, we organized a paper-cutting activity. The international students learned from their teachers and cut out their favorite patterns, so let's enjoy them.

In January 2025, BICC organized a birthday party for international students who had birthdays this month. Teachers and students from both China and abroad gathered together to celebrate birthdays. Although each international student was far from home, they all felt the warmth of family.

During the lecture, Teacher Alice provided a detailed explanation of Chinese laws and regulations, particularly those closely related to the daily life and studies of international students. In order to enrich the cultural life of scholarship students on campus and strengthen student communication, our college held the "Show Your Vitality, Move Your Youth" Fun Games for scholarship students in summer. The games were held in two categories: individual and team competitions, with a total of six events. Students competed against each other and encouraged each other with the principle of "friendship first, competition second". The enthusiasm was very high, and the laughter and joy were intertwined.

The Beijing International Chinese Language Institute (BICCI) welcomed its first group of Israeli guests this year, who came from the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Israel, led by the Director of the College's Corporate Relations and Strategic Planning Department, Mr. Oti Zed. The group was led by Director of the Institute's Corporate Relations and Strategic Planning Department, Oti Zed. Both the hosts and the guests had high expectations for future substantive cooperation. On behalf of the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design, Director Zed expressed his sincere thanks and good expectations for cooperation.
