Our awesome Interact Club students worked really hard today to make Stockton Elementary School’s Fair super special for all the kids. They had a lot of fun and did a great job!

Thank you to all 27 (yep…you heard that right…27!) Interact Club members who braved the cold and wind 🥶 today to volunteer at the Walk MS event at Cooper River Park. We were assigned to be the “Spirit Team” and we definitely brought the spirit! The volunteer coordinator actually told me it was the best Spirit Team she’s ever seen at this event! GREAT WORK, INTERACT!

Here was our assignment today: In this role, you’ll help bring the energy and excitement to the event by cheering on participants, creating a fun and encouraging atmosphere, and celebrating walkers as they start and finish. Your enthusiasm makes a huge impact on the overall experience!

Thank you to the CCCEA (Camden County Council of Education Association) for planning this great day of community service. We made blessing bags for the homeless, dog treats for local animal shelters, PB&J sandwiches for those in need and menstruation bags for women in need. We made some new friends from local high schools and enjoyed a great day of service.

So proud of all of the students who worked hard to sell chocolate bars to raise money for the Animal Welfare Association (AWA). They are an amazing organization and we are honored to support them in all they do!

A huge thank you to the Cherry Hill Interact Club for their amazing fundraising efforts! 🎉🍫

They raised $2,250 selling candy bars and recently dropped off their donation to support the animals at AWA. Your hard work and kindness are making a real difference—thank you for helping our furry friends! 🐾💛

Interact students personally made these amazing ABC and CHE alphabet flashcards for each Kindergartener at Bret Harte Elementary. How amazing are all of these alphabet cards?! I can’t post all 50+ sets of cards here, but every single set required time and effort, and turned out really beautiful and special.

I went to Bret Harte to deliver the completed cards for 2 of the 3 Kindergarten classes and it was so amazing. They all LOVED their cards and the teachers were so unbelievably kind and welcoming. Thank you to Mrs. McCloskey and Mr. Naddeo (a former student of mine! He’s currently subbing for Mrs. Weikle while she’s on maternity leave)!

We loved spending the afternoon at Lion’s Gate Assisted Living today! From sweet introductions to a little friendly Bingo competition and even a mini music concert, it was an afternoon full of smiles, laughter, and meaningful connections. 💙💛💙💛

For Random Acts of Kindness Day today (2/17), Interact Club placed “Cougar Compliments” around the school (smiley faces with positive notes to brighten someone’s day).

Sometimes the smallest note can make the biggest difference. 💛💙

Interact Club had so much fun helping out at Cooper School’s Literacy and Math Night tonight. They loved working with the elementary school kids, and playing fun games to help them with their math and reading skills. Thank you to JF Cooper Elementary School for putting together an amazing event to help make learning more fun!

Today we honored Dr. King’s legacy the best way we know how….through service.

From small acts to meaningful impact, our Interact members spent MLK Day of Service giving back with various community service activities at Beth El (thank you to Beth El for allowing us to take part in this day with you!).

Remember that service doesn’t stop today…it’s a way of life. 💙💛💙💛 SERVICE ABOVE SELF

The donation box is right by the CH East Main Entrance (outside of the front vestibule).

What an absolutely amazing morning volunteering for the NationalBrain Tumor Society’s (National Brain Tumor Society) Walk/Run at Cooper River Park. Interact Club members were divided into 2 shifts: 6:30am-9:30am to work registration, check in, and t-shirt/running bib handout, and 9am-11am to direct and cheer on the walkers and survivors all along the course. The rain didn’t put a damper on anyone’s spirits, and the skies were clear for the actual walk/run, which was perfect!

Thank you to all of the incredible volunteers who woke up early on a Saturday morning and worked hard to help others.
