Ek weet nie heeltemal hoe om hierdie week te verwerk nie... ❤️

Die reaksie op Mila skud haar kwaad uit het my heeltemal oorrompel. Hierdie eerste boekies was eintlik net proefkopieë, maar julle boodskappe, kommentare en bestellings het my laat besef dat hierdie storie gereed is om sy pad na ander huise te vind. 🌱📖

Ek is tans besig met die ISBN, finale drukreëlings en die volgende druklopie. Die amptelike bekendstelling kom binnekort.

Ons het so gewoond geraak aan hoe dinge nou werk…

dat ons vergeet het hoe dit eens was.

Kinders was nie bedoel om alleen te cope nie.
Nie bedoel om so gou onafhanklik te wees nie.

Waar ons skree.
Waar ons iets sê wat ons nie bedoel nie.
Waar ons wens ons kon dit terugvat.

Maar dit maak jou nie ‘n slegte ma nie.

Wat saak maak…
is dat jy teruggaan.

Dat jy sê jammer.
Dat jy weer konnekteer.

Children don’t process the world the way we do.

When they’re overwhelmed…
words often don’t land.

But visuals do.

Visual aids help because:
• They make feelings easier to understand
• They give children something concrete to focus on
• They reduce overwhelm by simplifying choices
• They support regulation without needing lots of words

Instead of telling a child what to do…
we show them.

And that changes everything 🤍
