FCS Cub Scout Pack 356

We had a great time doing an impromptu Raingutter Regatta at the Fellowship Christian School Jumpstart on Monday! We are excited to get this school year kicked off for Pack 356!

We are a boys only pack with members from the Roswell and surrounding area. Our mantra is Fun with a Purpose.

This past weekend the boys spent 2 nights living like a sailor aboard the USS Yorktown. They were also able to explore the destroyer, the USS Laffey, and take a ferry ride over to see Ft. Sumter. Lots of WWII and Civil War history this trip.

Another Spooky-Ree at Bert Adams Scout Camp in the books. We had a great time in our favorite camping spot right on the lake where the boys like to explore and fish. Lots of crafts, workshops, and good eating by the fire.

Pinewood Derby is one of our favorite events! The competition was tough this year as the track was running fast. It was greate having the boys, siblings, and freinds all join the race. The parents division was a close call. The boys also got to experiment building some Lego racers to run on the track as well.

We had an awesome outing at a nearby park pond learning to fish. Even better 4 of the boys were able to land their first fish ever, including one very large crappie!

Blue and Gold Banquet was a huge success. We are so proud of our scouts and families. We had four Arrow of Light Scouts cross over to Troop 87. It’s tremendous accomplishment.

We love to recruit more boys into scouts and have them join the fun adventures. No experience needed.

We had a fantastic time at our October Pack Meeting! This month we focused on our two Scout Laws of Brave and Helpful followed by a fantastic “touch a truck” experience!
