I am a military spouse (which means we move around quite a bit), but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Being exposed to this lifestyle has shown me all the diversity that is around and I'm able to incorporate that in

✌️✌️ Last day of testing … I needed a drink.

I loved the messages on these - little reminders that we can survive, keep going, thriving, and enjoy the journey.

Seven days of school left. ✌️✌️

One of my FAVORITE parts of discussing the Preamble is seeing what my students think the words mean when they read them. It’s so eye opening because the original words are so big. The purpose of this activity is for students to write their own words and then transfer to paper to write their “version” of the Preamble.

🌳🌍 Trees?! Yes, please!

We’ve had a great week talking about the Earth and there’s no perfect way to end it than to talk about the need for trees!

Arbor Day is tomorrow and the perfect time to inform (or remind) your students of why trees are important!

Yeah. This is where I am. 😅

Anyone else having the “gotta return after a relaxing and basically productive week off” feels?! ✋🏻✋🏻✋🏻

On the bright side, roughly less than 30 school days left, so, we can do it! It’s just … I have to set alarms again.

Arbor Day is approaching 🌳🌲🌴

We love reading books about trees (and the many different kinds). I’ve compiled several of my favorites that I use! So many amazing ways to start a conversation about the importance of trees.
