This hands-on training course is designed for registered nurses and clinical staff looking to develop or refresh their catheterisation skills. Covering both urethral and supra-pubic catheterisation, this session provides a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical training, ensuring participants gain the confidence and competence required for safe and effective catheter insertion and care.
Attendees will explore the principles of catheterisation, including when and why it is needed, the advantages and risks, and best practices for minimising complications. The course also covers male and female anatomical considerations, as well as proper post-procedure care and documentation.
