✨ BHARTIYA RANGMANCH – Celebration of Indian Culture! ✨
The Department of Computer Applications, LNCT University, proudly organized “Bhartiya Rangmanch”, a cultural event celebrating the diversity and heritage of India through dance, music, and ramp walk performances representing different states of the country.
Students enthusiastically showcased traditional attire, cultural performances, and artistic talent, making the event vibrant and memorable.

The Department of Computer Applications (MCA) proudly congratulates our talented students — **Aman Kahar, Gautam Jaiswani, and Ayushman Nema** — for securing **3rd Position** at the prestigious **Graph-E-Thon 3.0**, a 72-hour national-level hackathon hosted by Graphic Era University.
Competing against **5,000+ participants** and **100+ finalist teams** from across the country, the team developed a **market-ready technology solution** focused on building a more **resilient and equitable future**.
As the **Second Runner-Up**, the team was awarded a **₹1,00,000 cash prize** along with **₹50,000 incubation support** to further develop and scale their innovative project.
This achievement reflects the spirit of innovation, teamwork, and excellence fostered by the Department of Computer Applications (MCA). We are immensely proud of our students for bringing laurels to the institution and inspiring the next generation of innovators.

We are pleased to announce that the **Samatrix Future Coders Hackathon 2026** for **BCA AIDA 2nd Semester students** was successfully organized and completed by the Samatrix Team.
This was a **2-day event** conducted on **14th and 15th May 2026**.
The coding competition began on **14th May**, followed by project presentations from several groups on the same day. The remaining teams presented their innovative projects on **15th May 2026**. The event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony on 15th May.
The hackathon witnessed enthusiastic participation, excellent teamwork, and many creative project ideas from the students. All participants were excited and happy to be part of this successful event.

We also appreciate all participating teams for their hard work, dedication, and active involvement, which made this hackathon a grand success.

School of Computer Science and Technology, Department of Computer Application, organized an Expert Lecture on “Women Empowerment and Modern Society” on 13 March 2026 to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The session was delivered by Dr. Megha Kamble (Head & Professor, CSE, LNCTE) who inspired students by sharing valuable insights on the importance of women empowerment, leadership, and equality in modern society.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from MCA students and faculty members, making the session informative, engaging, and inspiring.

National Science Day Celebration at LNCT University, Bhopal
School of Computer Science & Technology, Department of Computer Application successfully celebrated National Science Day on 26 February 2026, based on the theme “Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future” with a special focus on Women in Science – Leading Innovation, Inspiring Change.
The program was held from 01:00 PM to 03:30 PM at Room No. 305, under the guidance of Director Dr. Sanjay Bajpai and HODs Dr. Alka Gulati, Dr. Kavita Kanathey, and Dr. Jayanti Mehra, and was smoothly coordinated by faculty and student coordinators.

🏆 Victory at Innovathon 1.0 🏆
Proud moment for School of Computer Science & Technology (SOCST) Department of Computer Application at LNCT University, Bhopal.
Our brilliant BCA students secured 🥈 2nd Position in the Sustainable Development Track at a 48-hour National Level Hackathon hosted by the University of Jammu.
With innovation, teamwork, and dedication, they built real-world tech solutions for Viksit Bharat @ 2047 and brought home a ₹15,000 cash prize! 💰

SIH Decoded was a focused workshop organized by the School of Computer Science & Technology, Department of Computer Application, LNCT University, Bhopal, to guide students for ''Smart India Hackathon 2026''.
The session provided a structured understanding of problem statement analysis, idea validation, solution building, prototype development, and presentation strategy required to qualify and perform at the national level.
The workshop was conducted by SIH 2025 Finalists, Atul Kumar Patel and Aditya Kumar Jha, who shared practical insights, real selection strategies, and ex*****on frameworks based on their experience.
This initiative aimed to prepare students with clarity, direction, and a competitive approach toward SIH 2026 participation.
