What a wonderful morning at Little Rosie’s Music & Storytime! It was lovely to welcome so many little ones and their families to OLR for a fun filled session of singing, stories, movement and smiles. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Congratulations to our OLR Zone Athletics Team! 🏅💙

We are incredibly proud of all our students who represented OLR at the Zone Athletics Carnival. Their determination, sportsmanship, resilience and team spirit were on display throughout the day and they should be very proud of their efforts.

Whether achieving a personal best, cheering on teammates, or placing in events, every student represented our school with pride and enthusiasm. We celebrate all of our athletes for their commitment and courage in giving their very best.

This week we're shining the spotlight on the wonderful Mrs Draheim, one of the friendly faces in our Library.

A former OLR student, teacher and now School Officer, Mrs Draheim has been part of the OLR community for many years and describes our school as a second home. She loves supporting children's literacy and fostering a lifelong love of reading, making the Library a welcoming and inspiring space for all.

🌿🪐 Year 2 had an unforgettable day of discovery and adventure at the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens and Planetarium! ✨

From exploring the beautiful gardens and learning about the amazing world of plants, to journeying through space and uncovering the wonders of our solar system, there was no shortage of excitement, curiosity and hands-on learning.

Our students asked thoughtful questions, made new discoveries and had plenty of fun along the way. What a fantastic opportunity to bring classroom learning to life and create lasting memories together! 💚🌏⭐

We are delighted to welcome Miss Courtney Cook to the OLR family. An experienced educator, Miss Cook has joined our Year 3B classroom and will provide continuity of learning for our students for the remainder of the year while Mrs Dahms is on maternity leave.
