Game 4 is all about using the keyboard to guide a character through a maze to find the correct answer. Using the arrow keys – up, down, left, and right – you must navigate without hitting closed areas, and reaction time is crucial!
Time also plays an important role, so you need to be both fast and precise. The more you play, the better you get, and you can really see your skills improve.
It’s fun, educational, and motivating – and a great way to test how quickly you can think and act!

Are you good at remembering pictures? In Game 3, whether you’re a senior playing with younger children, you can try a digital version of the classic “memory game.” There are 38 digital cards, each forming a matching pair.
The rules are the same as the traditional card game, but with a little twist: time is crucial.
Try the game and see how quickly you can find the matching pairs – and test how sharp your memory and your ability to remember positions really are.

Are you ready to test how fast your eyes can spot hidden words in a big jumble of letters? Then you should try Game 2! 😎
In this fun and challenging game, letters fill the entire screen, but hidden among them are real words that you need to find and click on. The game is timed, so you can compete against friends or yourself to see who can find all the words the fastest.
Along the way, you’ll train your concentration, sharpen your attention, and challenge your speed – all at the same time!

We also took part in a lively “Brain games workshop” session, combining movement, coordination, and a lot of laughter.

9 May – Europe Day and its relevance to the Erasmus+ Project "Active Brain Games"

9 May, celebrated as Europe Day, marks the anniversary of the Schuman Declaration in 1950, which laid the foundation for a peaceful and united Europe. This day symbolizes not only the birth of the European Union but also a shared vision of cooperation, peace, and solidarity across borders.

In the context of the Erasmus+ project "Active Brain Games", Europe Day holds special significance. The project embodies the very values promoted by the EU—lifelong learning, inclusion, and active citizenship.

By developing innovative cognitive games and activities for adults, particularly older learners, "Active Brain Games" promotes mental well-being, intergenerational learning, and European cooperation in the field of non-formal education.

Celebrating 9 May reminds us that projects like "Active Brain Games" are not only educational initiatives but also part of a broader European movement to foster unity through diversity, empower individuals, and build a resilient and mentally healthy society.
