The Florida heat is intense! 🌞 With a 110°F heat index, our crew was up with the sunrise this morning, aiming to get a head start. By 8:30 AM, it was already 83°F, and we hit 90°F by 10:00! Looks like early and midnight shifts are the way to go until things cool down. Grateful for our incredible team at Frost Lane Farms! 💪🌾

Check out the Farmers Market Path in Downtown DeFuniak Springs! This is one of Walton County's largest and newest markets, featuring the "Fair Market" on Highway 83 and the "9th St Market," a brick-and-mortar hidden gem farm store. On Baldwin Avenue is the second-longest running farmers market in Walton County our hometown DFS Farmers Market.

As you stroll through downtown, enjoy lunch at one of the many available restaurants. Frost Lane Farms will be present at all three locations, offering local beef and pork, along with tropical fruits from South Florida. You'll find a variety of vendors from all over, making it the perfect way to spend your Saturday.

This week, we traveled to South Florida to help our daughter move in her new apartment. Savannah has played a significant role in our markets for many years. As a young girl, she loved going to the markets with her grandpa and Aunt Boo. Later in high school, she stepped in whenever needed, and for the past two years while attending FSU, she made the trip back each weekend to work multiple markets.

Now that she has officially relocated to Orlando for her final chapter at Barry School of Law, we are incredibly grateful for all her hard work supporting the family farm, and we couldn’t be prouder of her achievements. She will be deeply missed in our weekend operations! We love you Savannah Lynn Adams!

We took a trip to South Florida to get Savannah set up for school, as always, we were on the lookout for fresh local produce. With three markets this weekend, we’re excited to bring you a taste of the tropics! We loaded up on delicious finds like mangoes, star fruit, and Florida avocados from the local farms. 🌴🍈🥑 Come check them out!
