Prof. Sivadath Madhu Menon, Professor at Dhirubhai Ambani University School of Law, attended the India Aircraft Leasing & Financing Summit 2.0 organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA), International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA), and FICCI at GIFT City, Gujarat.
During the event, Prof. Menon also interacted with Shri Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

The One-Day Conference on AI Governance: Ethics, Data Protection and Legal Framework was successfully hosted by School of Law - Dhirubhai Ambani University, in collaboration with Deccan Centre for International Relations and IITM Pravartak Professional Certificate Programme AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with support from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
We were honoured by the presence of S Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, whose leadership continues to shape Indiaโs digital and AI governance ecosystem, and Prof. Balaraman Ravindran, whose work at IIT Madras and Centre For Responsible AI (CeRAI) is at the forefront of responsible AI research and innovation.
A special address by Vanitha Venugopal, CEO of Tamil Nadu Technology Hub (iTNT), enriched the discussions drawing from her extensive leadership experience, including her previous role at Dell, and her work in driving deep-tech and innovation ecosystems.
We also acknowledge the invaluable guidance of Prof (Dr) Avinash Dadhich and Amb. T. S. Tirumurti, whose contributions continue to strengthen interdisciplinary dialogue across law, policy, and global governance.

He is founding head of the Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI, chaired the National Task Force on AI and cybersecurity and was a member of the GoI task force on defence applications of AI. He is a member of the Government of Indiaโs Advisory Group on AI for India Specific Regulatory Framework and the AI Advisory Council of the AI for India 2030 initiative of the World Economic Forum. He represents India on the Expert Advisory Panel to the UKโs State of the Science Report on Advanced AI Safety. He is serving as a Global Commissioner in the Responsible AI for Military Applications (REAIM) council.
With over three decades of experience in reinforcement learning and AI, he has been at the forefront of shaping Indiaโs research and policy landscape in responsible AI.
