My good friends Alisha and Joey Postma from Divebuddies4life wrote this great article about diving in Zihuatanejo. They were the 2 first divemasters I ever tought. I definetly recommand you follow their blog. When they came to visit that time of year as Ali says in the article it was pretty choppy and not so good visibility but the Pacific always find a way to surprise you. Thank you guys for mentionning Zihuatanejo. It is such a special place and is worth discovering. I am sure next time you will get better conditions haha!!

If you asked me to pinpoint Mexico's famous diving locations on a map, I could do it in a heartbeat. As an avid scuba diver, hot commodity destinations such as Cozumel island and the Baja Peninsula are very familiar territory. The small municipality of Zihuatanejo on the other hand - that is a whole different story.

Check out this off the beaten track dive destination and marvel at the neat marine animals that call this place home!!
