I have a heart for education, a respect for the political process and an undying desire to serve my community. Being a product of the Houston Independent School District, it is important to me, personally, that its quality of education remains top notch. Being a product of an urban neighborhood, I am aware of some of the pitfalls that challenge students and compromises their educational focus.
