February 17 — My 1st Year in My ESL Journey
Today marks my first year in my ESL journey. It wasn’t easy—especially during the first six months, when I was still investing in humble but better devices I could use. There were many tears along the way. This journey truly showed me who would stay with me through the ups and downs.
Despite everything, I am deeply thankful to my employer, Ms. Jenny, for trusting me throughout this journey. This is truly an answered prayer. I asked for a part-time job that my body and mind could handle, as my body is fragile—and God provided exactly that.
Thank you, Teach Elve, for not leaving me. Your support meant so much to me. I was also blessed with face-to-face classes with Jed, Leo, Amir, Corin, Arkin, Clyde, Athena, Grace and Mheg and a private online class with Yana from California along the way. I love you all. 🥹
To all my bashers, thank you for the motivation.
To my true friends, thank you for the constant encouragement.
And a big thank you to my family—here in Taguig and in Tagum—for the love and support that keep me going.
Special thanks to my very supportive husband, and above all, to the One who never lets me down—Jehovah, my God.
