The new John Madden Football Center is truly a remarkable space! Our alumni community had an incredible time learning about the intentionality and heart poured into every part of its design.

Five alumni joined us, representing Cal Poly Football teams from the 1980s through 2025. It was especially meaningful to see familiar names on the wall, including Victor Glover Victor Dionna Glover and the program’s most recent NFL addition, Elijah Ponder Elijah Ponder.

A special thank-you to Running Backs Coach Robbie Rouse for helping make this connection and to Special Assistant to the Head Coach Jeff Shuman for providing such a wonderful tour. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the history, legacy, and future of Cal Poly Football! 💚💛
